Saab is a Swedish automaker that is a marque of General Motors. Up until 1990, the company was independently owned by SAAB, an acronym for "Svenska Aeroplan AB" (The Swedish Aeroplane Company). Early versions of Saab’s cars found great success in the rally sport racing and created quite a following for the Saab cars. Currently, Saab is trying to boost its North American sales since it’s main sales market is in Europe.
