Kia is a South Korean automobile manufacturer that specializes in economic compacts, sedans, SUVs, and minivans. It was founded in 1944 and is South Korea’s oldest car company. However after financial problems, Kia was bought by fellow Korean company Hyundai in 1998. Since that time, Kia has regained its marketplace for economy compact, mid-sized cars, SUVs, and minivans.
